With the start of the apprenticeship on 1 August the motto is now "OUR TURN!" for the first day together in the companies of the WERNER Gruppe. Be ambitious from the beginning. In the spirit of getting to know each other, the new apprentices, FOS interns and dual students of the WERNER Gruppe actively start their professional future. This will see 30 new junior staff trained in different commercial and technical trades in the WERNER Gruppe. The majority of the trainees started off together outside of the companies in the high ropes course on the Wasserkuppe.
Here everyone can explore their own abilities under very particular conditions and discover their physical limits "hand in hand" with their mentors. In addition to climbing and other introductory games to get to know one another, bobsleighing and a small tour to the viewing platform on the Radom were also part of the programme. In sunshine and with delicious barbecued food, the Welcome Day ended with a joint "apprenticeship barbecue party" and a relaxed exchange with the HR officers of the WERNER Gruppe Lucas Müller, Tanja Eib, Isabell Montry and Janina Weß.
For the WERNER Gruppe, the training of the specialists of tomorrow is crucial. In addition to the training within the company, cross-group offers are made to exchange ideas among young people and to start joint ventures. The success of the training is recognised with numerous awards: During the last year the best of the year and the best of the guild, national and German winners were celebrated. All trainees are invited to prove themselves and to show what they are made of, with the necessary foundations expertly provided.
